True for so many of Canada's larger waterfalls, the beauty of Grand Falls on the St. Johns River is marred by a dam built across the entirety of its upper reach. However, with bountiful rain, the dam doesn't spoil the view of water rushing across the incredible limestone formations into the gorge below.
