Bass Harbor Head Light, Maine ~ 2004

Of course, no visit to Acadia National Park is complete for a lighthouse lover without a stop at the Bass Harbor Head Light. During this return visit I found a new wooden stairway had been built to bring visitors onto the rocks below for a good view of the light. There were tourists and photographers scrambling all over the rocks.
