A few of these camelia/magnolia type blossoms grew wild in the field as well--Sweet Bay, perhaps, in a very young stage of growth. There are no longer cattle in this pasture, which will allow for some interesting new growth patterns over the next few months. I'll keep an eye on this sapling and see if it becomes shrub or tree.
